Elli has always had a sweet tooth, and having grown up in Dresden, design is practically her second nature. So it was only logical, maybe faith, to co-found the gingerbread start-up Pfeffer & Frost in 2019. Aiming for nothing less than to dust off the image of Nuremberg's flagship product - Elisenlebkuchen - Elli is now the managing director, visionary and mastermind behind pretty much everything that makes Pfeffer & Frost a love brand.
With inexhaustible creative energy and unquestionable perfectionism, she creates something new year after year and tries to make the world a little bit better. She appreciates a good cup of coffee and an interesting conversation and is always on the lookout for new inspiration.
Have you already met... Hannes?
That man has ideas: Many moons ago, Hannes, who studied media design, convinced Elli to set up a graphic design office together. In 2018, this office not only gave the idea of Pfeffer & Frost a face, but also its name.
As an indoor rower, Hannes knows that you can only ever be successful in life when cultivating perseverance. He puts his credo - you can always deal with stress in a relaxed way - into practice every day at work and in his private life, creating a relaxed and humorous working atmosphere for everyone.
Challenges and setbacks? For Hannes, these are just minor stumbling blocks. He always stays positive and just keeps going. His unwavering confidence is infectious and ensures that the team remains calm and focused even in stressful times. He is the one who not only comes up with lots of ideas, but also keeping the strings and ensures that everything stays on track.
Have you already met... Roland?
Roland is our master craftsman and a passionate baker. Since he birthed the recipe for our vegan Elisen gingerbread in 2021, he has put his years and years of experience and his endless dedication into every single Elisen. He would love to knead, shape and bake all day long, because that is where he is in his element, in the bakery.
Inherited from his parents - he runs his organic bakery with his son, always aiming to creatie the best work environment for employees and best food for his customers. His quality standards are as high as his appreciation for good craftsmanship and genuine teamwork.
Nothing makes his eyes light up more than the sparkle in our customers' eyes when they eat his baked goods. He lives for the joy of creating and working together - a true master of his craft who creates a little piece of happiness with every Lebkuchen.
